Emergency Information
Disaster Preparedness at Palm Crest Elementary:
Palm Crest conducts regular disaster drills to prepare our students and staff members in practicing
safety procedures.
In case of emergency, please fill out the top line of this student release card and bring it to school along with a photo ID: Student Release Card
We have prepared the Disaster Preparedness at Palm Crest Elementary flyer so that you can understand our disaster preparedness plan and what to do when coming to Palm Crest to pick up your child:
Connect-ED System:
This is an automated phone messaging system which enables the school/district to personally communicate with parents and staff regarding emergency situations within minutes.
To optimize effectiveness of Connect-ED:
- Ensure your current phone number is on file with the school.
- If possible, move to a quiet area or press ‘mute’ on your phone when listening to the message (background noise will cause the system to stop and start).
- Stay on the line and press the star (*) key on your phone to repeat the entire message if you missed any part of it.
Note: If you have Caller ID, the number will display the school or district phone number when receiving a Connect-ED message.
