LCF Girl Scout Day Camp Needs YOU! We are fortunate to have our very own Girl Scout Day Camp in La Canada which provides extraordinary outdoor experience and lifelong friendships to approximately 300 Girl Scout Campers and 100 Girl Scout Counselors every summer. This camp is entirely run by Volunteers. That’s where YOU come in! If you have a love of the Outdoors and Camping--we are looking for interested volunteers to help with our Backpacking Unit. Experienced backpackers are needed or we will not be able to extend this memorable part of camp to our 6th graders. Volunteers must reply before February 14th to be considered for this leadership opportunity. We also need people to lead hour long hikes, help with crafts, and more. You do not need to be a Girl Scout Leader. Parents, relatives and friends are welcome. All volunteers need to register as a Volunteer with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA). Depending upon your role, training will be provided or you will be able to take necessary training with GSGLA. For more information, please contact Jennifer Wolpert to learn more.
