Get Involved — Volunteer!

When you volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved.  Your help is needed!  

Room Representatives

Sign-ups for Room Representatives will be at the first PCR PTA Meeting on Tuesday, August 15, 8:15am.  If you have successfully signed up, there will be a Room Representative Orientation on Monday, August 21, 8:15am.  Please plan to attend.  If you can not attend, please contact Rachel Stanley at volunteers@palmcrestpta.org.  This is a great opportunity to help your child's class and teacher--and the kids love it when you're there to help!

Yearbook & Yearbook Photographers

If you have a knack for organizing and laying out photo pages, join our Yearbook Team.  Send your name and information to yearbook@palmcrestpta.org.  Training will be provided. 

Sign-ups for Event and Classroom Yearbook Photographers will also be at the first PCR PTA meeting on Monday, August 15th.  A Yearbook Photographer Orientation will follow at a to be determined date.  If you can use your cell phone camera, you can be a Yearbook Photographer.  We'd love to have you join the team--and it's a great way to volunteer and see your children at school.  

Fallapalooza

Each class will be responsible for a booth at Fallapalooza.  Classroom volunteer sign-ups for one hour shifts at Fallapalooza will be at Back-to-School Night in your child(ren)'s classroom(s).  If you would like to be a part of the Fallapalooza Planning Team, please contact Jennifer Wolpert at president@palmcrestpta.org.  We are looking for Volunteers to help coordinate Food, Games,Flyers/Publicity, Cake Walk, Walking Balloons and Medical (Doctor or Nurse).   Help us make Fallapalooza magical for our kids!
